BitSong is an innovative music streaming platform that utilizes blockchain technology and the IPFS distributed filesystem. This project is designed to make it easier for musicians and their fans to access music, while eliminating bureaucratic and economic barriers in the industry. Artists can produce songs on the platform and advertisers will be able to attach advertisements. When users access the songs, the funds will be sent directly to the artists’ wallets in the form of Bitsong tokens ($BTSG). This way, artists don’t have to wait for months to receive payments from record labels. They can easily track their progress in real-time on their wallet.
