A leading food importer and distributor on the island, is looking for a Salesperson to join their growing team. You will be responsible for driving sales and building strong customer relationships within the FMCG industry. This role involves actively prospecting for new clients, managing existing accounts, and ensuring effective product placement in retail stores.
Responsibilities:
Sales Generation:
• Actively seek out new business opportunities through face-to-face interactions.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Promote the company's brands to increase market share.
• Conduct regular store visits to verify that products are properly stocked and displayed.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Foster customer satisfaction and loyalty by effectively managing existing accounts.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
Sales Relief:
• Provide temporary coverage for other sales representatives when needed.
• Ensure continuity of customer service and sales operations during peak periods or absences.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in sales. Candidates with industry knowledge will be preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A valid driver's license.
