What is expected of you?

  • Manage petty cash, including handling reimbursements, preparing monthly reports, reconciling expenses, and ensuring replenishment of funds
  • Analyze fuel, stationery, and phone usage by reconciling actual consumption with supporting documents and checking invoices for errors or missing details
  • Conduct monthly stock checks for stationery replenishment
  • Record all purchased items (excluding fixed assets) in the accounting system
  • Facilitate supplier payments by preparing cheques or handing over invoices for bank transfers on time
  • File paid invoices once payment is complete
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, fixed assets, and supplier statements
  • Participate in meetings, focus groups, and training as needed
  • Handle any additional duties, ensuring deadlines are met

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Diploma in Accounting or a related field (MQF Level 5)
  • Preference given to candidates pursuing a degree in Accountancy
  • Experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Proficiency in accounting and IT systems is an advantage
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office
  • Able to work well in a team and with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of public procurement regulations is a bonus
  • Able to plan and meet deadlines
  • Professional, motivated, well-presented, and with strong communication skills
  • Ethical, with integrity and honesty
  • Proactive and takes initiative
