Purchasing ClerkJob Presentation
A leading group of companies in Malta are looking for a Purchasing Clerk to join their Procurement Department. In this role, you will support the daily operations of the department, responding to customer and supplier enquiries, data-inputting and other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day work within the Procurement Department such as tracking of email communication
- Issue Purchase Orders and forward to respective suppliers and departments originating requests
- Respond to stakeholder enquiries regarding order status, changes or cancellations
- Create and maintain filing, generate reports and update price lists
- File and retrieve purchasing order documents and records
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 year experience in purchasing/administration will be considered as an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Maltese is highly preferred
- Keen on working on own initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
