Job offer: Junior Accountant

Our client in the Hospitality Industry is looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with bookkeeping
• Reconciliation of balance sheet and bank accounts
• Handling VAT returns 
• Handles payables and receivables 
• Assisting and preparing management accounts on a monthly basis
• Supporting in the audit process
• Working closely with the CFO to prepare budgeting, forecasting and cash flows 
• Supporting the accounting department with day to day duties 

• A minimum of 2-3 years of local experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese
• Previous experience working with Shireburn would be considered an asset

• Actively studying ACCA or equivalent
