What's expected of you?

• Lead the design, planning, implementation, configuration, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications alongside detailed system documentation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance infrastructure and streamline operations through technology, while ensuring security and compliance standards are met.
• Improve underlying infrastructure for maximum performance, security, and availability.
• Assess systems, recommend security solutions, and maintain computer network and security systems.
• Execute detailed disaster recovery plans, support business continuity, and manage maintenance schedules.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, external customers, and the Technology team.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of IT systems and networks to detect vulnerabilities.
• Address security threats, malfunctions, and attacks.
• Manage firewalls, routers, VPNs, and other security tools.
• Take on additional duties as required.

 

What are you expected to bring?

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in an ICT role
• Industry certifications, such as Microsoft MS-101 and MS-500, are considered an asset
• Expertise in Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, Web Filtering Solutions, Mail Gateways, Load Balancers, AWS, and Intrusion Detection/Prevention solutions
• Proficiency with the Linux operating system
• A solid understanding of the IT industry with a strong business orientation
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
• Fluency in the English language
