Job offer: Operative (PET)

We are seeking a motivated individual to join a leading company in Malta as an Operator (PET Plant). In this role, you'll manage and maintain plant machinery, ensuring operations meet high-quality and efficiency standards. What's expected of you?

• Operate machinery and manage processes within the PET section, ensuring adherence to quality standards
• Complete relevant forms as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of machinery and plant according to the SOP
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, and support technical maintenance tasks, including periodic machinery overhauls
• Conduct product quality tests as outlined in SOP guidelines, ensuring operational standards are met

 

What are you expected to bring?

• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in reading and writing both English and Maltese
• O-Level certification
• Computer literacy with an ECDL certification
• Knowledge in the mechanical and/or electrical field
• Flexibility to learn new machinery as required by the company
• Willingness to work on a roster basis, including night shifts
