Job offer: Legal & Compliance Officer - iGaming

What is expected of you?

• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements with game providers, payment processors, and other partners, while maintaining an organized contract management system.
• Protect brand and content by managing intellectual property rights, including registrations, renewals, and dispute assistance when needed.
• Support the upkeep of current gaming licenses and facilitate new licensing efforts in additional jurisdictions.
• Ensure adherence to licensing standards and compliance with regulatory requirements, including AML/CFT, Responsible Gambling, Data Protection, Consumer Rights, and more.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes within online gambling and across the jurisdictions where the company holds licenses.
• Assist in developing, updating, implementing, and monitoring company policies and procedures.
• Oversee regulatory reporting processes, ensuring timely submissions and compliance.
• Monitor terms and conditions, manage customer complaints and disputes, and guide resolution efforts as needed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide legal and compliance support, including conducting staff training.
• Assist with corporate structural adjustments, handle corporate matters, manage operational tasks, oversee external legal services, and maintain document filing and administrative protocols.

 

What are you expected to bring?

• Qualified lawyer with solid experience in the online gaming sector, especially in legal or compliance positions.
• Strong knowledge of European regulatory environments; expertise in Dutch markets is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of current laws, regulations, and best practices in legal and compliance.
• Proven ability to take initiative and excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
