Job offer: Skilled Operator

Manpower is seeking to recruit a Skilled Operator to join our client team.

Overall Purpose

To safely perform a variety of tasks, including the setup and operation of machines for corrugated products.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate machine setup according to standard techniques.
• Set up materials and jobs on machines as per supporting documentation.
• Complete all necessary data entry and job-related documentation.
• Prepare reports on Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, and Quality Data.
• Operate machines efficiently, maximizing utilization and ensuring quality output.
• Perform troubleshooting and adjustments as required.
• Conduct quality checks on boxes during production, identifying defects.
• Adhere to the production schedule, recommending optimizations as needed.
• Assist the maintenance team with minor preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Operate forklifts and assist in loading or moving materials.
• Comply with Health & Safety rules and company policies.
• Participate in training and support the machine team with necessary training.
• Communicate relevant information promptly to supervisors.
• Adhere to all company work processes.
• Actively seek improvement and advancement opportunities within the company.
• Stay updated on developments in the work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
