Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, creative Architect and structural engineer to join our client's dynamic team. This role involves overseeing architectural aspects of projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all designs align with the vision, functional requirements, and budgetary constraints. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, innovative in problem-solving, and able to lead projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and oversee architectural plans for various projects.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and research to support project design and development.
- Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications using CAD and other architectural software.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure compliance with regulations and codes.
- Provide guidance during the construction process and perform quality checks on-site to maintain standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices to incorporate into projects.
- Design and analyze structural components of buildings, ensuring safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed structural plans, calculations, and reports in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Applications and monitoring of permit applications with the Planning Authority and the BCA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture and structural engineering .
- Licensed or registered Architect (or working toward registration/licensure).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and 3D visualization tools.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
