What’s expected of you?

• Develop precise cost estimates based on project blueprints, materials, and local regulations
• Prepare detailed bids covering project scope, labour, materials, and risk factors
• Work closely with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to produce cost-effective, competitive bids
• Ensure compliance with local standards
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering, identifying cost-saving measures without quality compromise
• Collaborate with project managers to set realistic budgets that meet financial targets
• Maintain organised records of all estimates, bids, and project documentation

 

What are you expected to bring?

• Proven experience as an electrical estimator or in a similar role, ideally within Malta’s construction industry
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and project management principles
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to details
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for cost estimation
