Job offer: Project Manager

Are you an experienced Engineer or Project Manager with a background in construction management? We are seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency. What’s expected of you?

• Assist in preparing project briefs, advise on budget and risk management, and organise feasibility studies and reports
• Prepare tender documentation, manage pre-qualification processes, and evaluate and recommend tenders
• Implement project control systems, manage progress, monitor project meetings, and ensure adherence to timelines
• Authorise payments according to project milestones, monitor budgets, and assess financial impacts of changes
• Facilitate effective communication channels, ensuring seamless collaboration among all stakeholders
• Establish QA procedures, ensure health and safety protocols, and address environmental considerations
• Maintain communication with regulatory bodies, funding agencies, and oversee compliance with statutory requirements
• Handle final account reconciliation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities, and manage handover procedures
• Gather feedback for continuous improvement and conduct post-completion reviews

 

What are you expected to bring?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Project Management or Masters in Engineering (MQF Level 6 or higher), a certification in Construction Project Management is an asset
• Previous experience in construction project management 
• Sound knowledge of construction regulations and best practices
• Strong leadership, negotiation and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, both in English and Maltese
• Proficient in project management software
• Valid Driving Licence Category B
