Job offer: Compliance Officer

A boutique CSP is currently on the lookout for a Compliance Officer to join their team. 

Duties include: 

• Stay informed on all AML/CFT regulatory developments, quickly identifying and addressing any changes or gaps.
• Collaborate with compliance and business teams to assess the effectiveness of AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls.
• Review, update, and approve company policies and procedures twice a year, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
• Develop and implement AML/CFT policies and monitoring programs for new business ventures.
• Oversee automated monitoring systems for client behavior, ensuring timely detection and reporting of suspicious activities.
• Support AML Business Risk Assessments (BRA) and Jurisdiction Risk Assessments (JRA), advising business units on how to mitigate risks.
• Prepare and manage legal documents to ensure they comply with applicable laws and internal standards.
• Provide day-to-day advice on legal issues, keeping the company aligned with all legal requirements and mitigating potential risks.
• Ensure the timely execution of compliance monitoring programs and escalate any identified gaps to senior management.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in regulatory affairs or compliance within a consulting firm, regulatory agency, or relevant industry.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and processes for TCSPs
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field
