The Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about software quality and has a strong background in both manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards mostly through automation. You will work closely with the development team, define test strategies and plans. We are in a phase where we would like to have good standards across multiple projects, and you can join us and help us continue building this!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute test procedures to ensure products meet organizational standards.
  • Define and document test plans to outline testing strategy for projects.
  • Find defects as early as possible.
  • Document and keep track on issues, provide clear explanation and reports on testing outcomes.
  • Implement test automation strategy with Playwright to cover project needs.
  • API testing to cover backend communication.
  • Participate in an Agile ceremonies.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Execute and maintain automated test scripts in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, tools, and trends in test automation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a QA Automation Engineer with previous experience with developing and maintaining automated tests: write, maintain, optimize tests using modern frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO.
  • Experience with mobile testing frameworks such as Appium or Espresso.
  • Proficiency in working with databases, including MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Solid knowledge of tools used on a daily basis such as Postman, Jira or similar.
  • Understanding and able to set up a CI/CD testing pipeline.
  • Experience working with in an agile environment with deep understanding of agile rituals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proactive approach and can-do attitude.
