Job offer: Warehouse Coordinator

Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Warehouse Coordinator to join our client's team.
The Warehouse Coordinator is the person responsible for the warehouse and the equipment within the warehouse including its upkeep and maintenance. The Warehouse Coordinator is also responsible for the planning and preparation of the materials and equipment required for an event.

Job Responsibilities :

• Communicate with event coordinators and logistics coordinators to plan and prepare all materials and equipment for an event;
• Ensures that material & equipment being prepared is well maintained, clean and up to standard;
• Plans coordinates, and monitors the dispatch, delivery, and pickup of equipment from/to suppliers, clients and venues;
• Receives the equipment at the warehouse after an event and ensures it is complete and in good condition;
• Oversees the planned maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment, whilst making sure that all equipment is well maintained and clean;
• Keeps track of consumables and restocking as needed;
• Maintains standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the warehouse environment;
• Coordinates the use of automated and computerized systems when necessary;
• Keeps stock control systems up to date and makes sure inventories are accurate;
• Plans future warehouse capacity requirements and maintenance up to date;
• Produces regular equipment update reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis;
• Uses space wisely, handles mechanical equipment efficiently and makes sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are in line with the company policies.

Requirements :

• Organized and self-motivated team player with an eye for detail;
• Proficient problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure;
• Able to communicate well in both English and Maltese;
• In possession of a clean driving license, and ideally also a driving License C or C1.
