Are you an experienced finance professional seeking an exciting opportunity with a renowned hospitality company? Join our client's dynamic team as a Finance Consolidation Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and consolidation processes for our esteemed client, part of a leading Group of Companies!
What is expected of you?
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of the group’s financial statements.
- Ensure adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other applicable accounting regulations.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to collect required financial data and address any discrepancies.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline and improve the accuracy of the consolidation process.
- Perform variance analysis and deliver insights on financial performance to senior management.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for consolidated financial statements.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Stay informed about updates to accounting regulations and best practices related to financial consolidation.
- Mentor and train junior finance staff on consolidation practices and financial reporting standards.
What are you expected to bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- At least five years of experience in a senior finance role, with a focus on financial consolidation and reporting.
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are a must.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
