Birgu Candlelight Company are manufacturers of artisan scented candles. Our candles are inspired by the sights and scents of the beautiful islands of Malta, a destination brimming with sun, sea and culture.

Our scented candles use a fine blend of vegetable waxes and carefully curated fragrances, with creative notes that will transport you into a different space from the first time that you light one. Our artisan handcrafted candles have been carefully designed and developed to light up your senses, creating a long-lasting and unmistakable aroma sure to compliment any setting.

Our studio shop - currently being renovated and opening Spring 2021 - can be found within the ancient walls of the Church of St. Lawrence, the first Collegiate Church of the Knights of St. John, dating back to the 16th Century.
