Job offer: Junior IT Admin

Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Junior IT Administrator to provide technical support and assistance to ensure the efficient operation of our client's IT infrastructure.
This role includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and maintaining network and system security. The Junior IT Administrator will work closely with the IT Manager and other IT staff to support day-to-day operations and larger IT projects.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide first-level support for IT issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
• Respond to and resolve user inquiries and issues in a timely manner, either in person, via phone, or through email.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, backups, and patch management.
• Monitor system performance and report any irregularities.
• Support the administration of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other network segments.
• Assist with the configuration and maintenance of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in accordance with company policies.
• Manage permissions and access rights to ensure data security.

Requirements :

• At least 1 or 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in Maltese and English, both written and spoken.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, or similar.
