Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Technical Leader, the Engineering and Maintenance Spare Parts Storekeeper shall coordinate with the Technical Leader and Senior Technicians to effectively manage the company assets.

Minimum Qualification for the Position:
The Engineering and Maintenance Storekeeper must have a minimum of MFQ Level 5 or equivalent. The position of Spare Parts Storekeeper is responsible for the organization of the maintenance store and accountable for ensuring spare parts are ready for use and the maximum and minimum quantity is controlled. The position is also responsible of executing periodic inventories at maintenance store. The Spare Parts Storekeeper is to keep the store and parts in the store clean and tidy. The position also must ensure that the parts are easy to find.

Job Responsibilities:

Organize the maintenance store and ensure that every store location (cabinets / shelving / racks) is tagged accordingly.

Ensure safekeeping of parts and that all parts are stored in a manner that are easy to find and to prepare for use.

Apply good stores management practices and parts management to ensure parts and any other equipment retain full reliability while stored.

Ensure cleanliness of the store and parts and that the store is kept in order.

Responsible for general control over all activities in stores.

Ensure that only authorized persons have access to store.

Prepare parts for preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.

Assist the Maintenance personnel in determining parts and accessories requirements for maintenance jobs and issue parts to the Maintenance team as may be required.

Control inventory in / out of parts and keep appropriate records.

Ensure spare parts minimum and maximum quantity is enough in store.

Responsible to make stock analysis such as fast moving or slow-moving parts analysis.

Monitor and take stock inventory on regular basis.

Compile stock requirements based on needs and prepare parts requisitions.
